Because they’re solid, they can be broken or cut which means an alarm signal from your business or home security system can’t reach the central monitoring station to summon help. Long Range Radio can help to keep you connected even if your phone line is jeopardized. With its powerful signal giving you complete security and protection. Telephone lines can be damaged by anything from lightning strikes or a backhoe to an intruder’s wire cutters. If your phone line is out of commission, the cellular unit will send an alarm message to the central monitoring station. We recommend every system have Long Range Radio (LRR) in addition to the standard telephone line. The telephone line connection gives us the capability to call up your panel via computer and make any changes to your system for you. Such as disable a faulty zone until we can repair it or add a new code to your system. If customer opt only for the LRR we would not have access to connect to your panel.
